Privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal data Frencheezy Exams collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers all three Frencheezy sites.
Who is responsible
Frencheezy, run by Jouana, a French teacher working online worldwide. Contact: contact@frencheezy.com.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and password (stored encrypted).
- Your learning: course progress, quiz and test answers, assignments and recordings you send, certificates.
- Your orders: what you bought, the amount and the payment status. All payments are processed by PayPal, so we never receive your PayPal login or card details. Credit card payments are coming soon and will also be handled by a secure payment provider.
- Level test: your answers are used to calculate your level. Your email only if you ask us to send you the result.
- Free workbooks: the email address you leave and the consent you gave.
- Messages: what you write to us by email.
- Technical data: the cookies needed to keep you logged in, and basic server logs (IP address, browser) kept for security.
Why we use it
- To give you access to your courses and keep track of your progress.
- To correct your work, answer your questions and send course emails (for example a new live class date).
- To process orders and keep the records the law asks us to keep.
- To send learning tips and news, only if you said yes. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the sites secure.
Who can see it
Jouana and the Frencheezy teachers who teach your courses, and the companies that host the sites and deliver our emails, only so they can provide that service. We never sell your data and there is no advertising on Frencheezy.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data: while your account is open, then up to 12 months after you ask us to close it. Order records: as long as accounting law requires. Workbook and level test emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. (Proposed periods, to be confirmed by Frencheezy.)
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the sites to work, such as the login cookie that lets one account work on Frencheezy, Frencheezy Kids and Frencheezy Exams. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to contact@frencheezy.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Morocco, the CNDP).
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top and tell account holders about important changes by email.
